UT Energy Journalism Workshop (Invitation Only)

Some of the world’s leading energy researchers will present their research findings and discuss emerging trends in the world of energy at the second annual UT Energy Journalism Workshop, Sept. 27-28, 2017, on UT Austin campus. The workshop, hosted by the university’s Energy Institute, School of Journalism, McCombs School of Business and School of Law, is a crash course for journalists who regularly cover energy issues for news outlets across the country. UT faculty members and other researchers will deliver a series of presentations on a wide range of topics – from the growth of distributed energy resources and sustainable building design to the latest research on methane hydrates and emerging trends in water use for energy production.
