The KBH Center also has an Executive Council and an Advisory Council. The Executive Council is comprised of individuals who are leaders in the energy industry. The Executive Council was established to guide the direction and accomplish the mission of the KBH Center for Energy, Law and Business. In addition, the members are ambassadors for the program in their communities, support fundraising objectives, hire students when possible, provide practicum projects as needed, identify prospective Executive and Advisory Council members, and assist with recruiting top students to The University of Texas at Austin.
The Advisory Council serves as a platform for alumni and friends of the McCombs School of Business and the University of Texas School of Law to lend their knowledge, resources, and expertise for the benefit of The University of Texas at Austin and the KBH Center for Energy, Law, and Business. The members of the Advisory Council are ambassadors for the KBH Center in their communities, support fundraising objectives, and help identify other Advisory Council members.
